About the project

Emerging Markets Business Summit is a short-term business exchange programme between universities from developing countries across the globe. This year, the 8th edition of the Project will be held between between June and July. This remarkable initiative launched by students of the Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Warsaw is an opportunity to get to know business and political specificities of all countries aspiring to become world’s economic leaders.

What we do

Knowledge sharing
Our team members write articles on current problems of emerging markets tha are regularly published on the website. By addressing issues concerning economics, business and social problems, we help students to better understand the chances and challenges connected with rapidly growing economies.
Annual conference
EMBC is the biggest student-run conference devoted to emerging markets in the Central and Eastern Europe. At the end of June the most prominent and experienced economists, financiers and businessmen will gather in in the Hall of Quotation at the Warsaw Stock Exchange to talk about new perspectives that the world is facing due to the growth of new economics powers.
Cultural experience
EMBS is an innovative cooperation programme between students from emerging markets. Each year we invite two universities to participate in a 10-day long business exchange, during which they have a chance to take part in various workshops and get to know polish culture. Afterwards our team participates in similar events organised by our partners.
